What is Lighthouse?

Lighthouse Editions is a small specialist independent company publishing exclusively in the Gurdjieff related field. Producing books of a high quality in a print on demand format enables us to keep titles in print over a long period, with world-wide distribution.

Joseph Azize

Joseph Azize came from a Syriac Christian background, to study with George and Helen Adie in Sydney, Australia, until their deaths in 1989 and 1996, respectively. He researches and publishes in ancient history, and in law. He presently teaches Litigation at the University of Technology, Sydney. His chief interest in ancient history is Ancient Phoenicia, and its relationship (especially in intellectual and artistic matters) with the ancient Near East and Greece. He has a strong secondary interest in the Book of Qohelet (Ecclesiastes).
